JeanCircle Jean Gross CBE is an education expert who has led many national initiatives aimed at improving the learning, attainment and wellbeing of disadvantaged children and those with special educational needs. She is committed to “making a difference for children and young people who don’t have much going for them in their lives.” She is interested in providing advice and support to those who share this commitment and are working at a strategic level to make change happen for children.

SherannCircle Sherann Hillman MBE, Head of Family Services (Seashell), uses her in-depth knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities to support families and was significantly involved in the amendment to the Children and Families Act 2014 for the right for parents and carers to have the right to an assessment for support. Sherann received the Proud of Stockport Community Champions Award in 2013, Recognition Award for her work in the 2014 SEND Reforms and was awarded an MBE in 2017 for her Services to Children with SEND.

  • Rose Brooks - Specialist Speech and Language Teacher, Advisory Teacher for Babcock International Education.
  • Anna Sowerbutts - Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist who specialises in language disorders, including DLD. Author of DLD and Me.
  • Juliet Leonard - Speech and Language Therapist at Speech and Language Link.
  • Lorraine Petersen OBE - Lorraine Petersen Educational Consultancy (LPEC) Independent Educational Consultant specialising in SEND, Mental Health and Wellbeing.
