Bigger and Better - Infant Language Link now has more interventions than ever

From September 2019, Speech Link Multimedia Ltd is adding more targeted interventions to Infant Language Link. The number of sessions has increased to 8 half hour planned activities for each class in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 and, like all the tailored groups, teachers benefit from the measured outcomes that show how children are raising attainment.

The extra listening groups will introduce more Phonological Awareness Activities, helping to develop these essential pre-literacy skills.

Derry Patterson SLT, designer of Infant Language Link, says, "Good listening skills underpin all learning and in particular speech and language in schools. With SLCN now identified by the DfE as the most common SEN in primary schools (DfE, Jan 2019*), we want teachers, SENCOs and support staff to have as many resources as possible to support children with SLCN."
